About Us

Mason Youth Wrestling is a non-profit sports organization serving the students of the Mason City School District.

Our primary goal is to prepare our young athletes to compete for Mason Middle School and Mason High School. Sportsmanship, hard work, discipline, team unity, and community pride are also stressed to our wrestlers.

Wrestling could be the best thing that your child has ever experienced. Unlike many other sports we have no benchwarmers or second-string wrestlers. Everyone who signs up gets to compete. There’s no right field to hide your kid in and the coach’s son doesn’t get to play quarterback.

Mason Youth Wrestling offers year round training opportunities for our wrestlers. Again, our goals are clear that we plan to prepare your wrestlers to compete at a higher level and prepare them to compete for their school when older. In addition to the traditional season which runs from November through March, we offer spring/summer practice as well as camps and private instruction to help our athletes improve their skills and become more competitive.
